Santa Monica, CA – Beyond 2000 Enterprises, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization was founded by former UCLA and Purdue University football players Ron Allen and Henry Bell, as a fulfilling and much needed way of supporting local kids as they develop their football skills and become successful young men. This is their 5th year of hosting the Beyond 2000 (B2G) Elite Football Camp. A three day intense mentoring and skill training program to inspire and provide top performing inner city youth with the proper tools they need to attend college and continue to further their football careers.



The camp culminates with “The A Game” which is the most anticipated event of the camp by participants and spectators alike. The All-Star skill match-up sets the offense against the defense in a head-to-head battle for bragging rights and the last chance to showcase their skills in an effort to win awards handed out by the coaching staff.



“The A Game” will take place on Sunday, June 27 at 1PM on Corsair Field, Santa Monica College. Fans and players will enjoy a day of football, celebrity appearances, a live DJ and more entertainment. There will also be a silent auction and product giveaways throughout the afternoon, as well as the Wahoo’s Fish & Taco Luncheon and Awards Banquet.



Since its inception in 2000, the B2G Elite Football Camp has grown to become one of the most coveted programs in California. Just this year Matt Ware, alumni of the inaugural B2G class of 2000, was drafted into the NFL and will be playing for the Philadelphia Eagles. Matt’s achievement marks the beginning of the B2G Era by solidifying the successful pipeline into the NFL.



All of the camp graduates have accredited B2G with playing an important part in their post high school success, and many players continue to stay in touch with their mentors years after graduating from the camp. A winning and successful stat, which proves to make a difference in the lives of our youth. With the support of community contributions and corporate sponsors like Nike, Wahoo’s Fish Tacos and 24Hour Fitness, Beyond 2000 Enterprises will continue to thrive and offer camp scholarships to youth who would not have otherwise had an opportunity to train with some of the best coaches around and perfect their skills on and off the field.
