July 15, 2004, Niagra Falls, Canada ----Directed by Academy award winning visual effects director, British born Colin Chilvers -- "Home Beyond the Sun" is the story of one young woman's desperate offort to help a Chinese orphan escape poverty, abuse, and oppression in mainland China. Inspired by a true story, the movie tells the tale of Jenna Wilton [portrayed by Canadian actress Melyssa Ade], a 22 year old Bible college grad who travels to China to follow in the footsteps of her guardian and mentor, Pastor Dan [Stan Coles].
Upon arrival in China, Jenna takes a job teaching English at an exclusive Boy's school. Alone in a strange new world, Jenna meets a little orphan girl, named Chu Lee, [played by 10 year old actress, Molly Sayers, a former Chinese orphane] and instantly bonds with her.
When Jenna discovers that Chu Lee will never have a family and will be soon be forced into child labor, Jenna decides to get involved. She contacts Pastor Dan in America and pleads with him to search ofr a family who might adopt Chu Lee; inadvertently setting the wheels of conflict in rapid motion. What follows next is as old as time itself; a modern day re-telling of 'David verses Goliath.'

Filmmaker with a Heart for the world unloved and unwanted Children
Producer Byron Jones, bravely took on a subject that many film producers would shy away from "China's Found Forsaken" children. "Garden City's Pictures goal in making this film is to help rescue hundreds of thousands of unloved and unwanted orphans in China. "I just knew this was a story that had to be told," Jones vigorously stated.
Jones humanity has put him in touch with the pulse of today's world needs. Currently, Jones oversees a mission in Haiti for the poor. On site are 49 full-time national workers with services that extend to over 2000 Haitians at risk. The Haitian mission has established 2 schools withover 300 children and an orphanage that houses youth.
