Peace is not just the absence of war but is a state of mind in each person which is influenced in a negative way by war, hatred, violence, fundamentalist religion, etc. etc. or in a positive way by goodwill, tolerance, justice, respect for others, life, religion, property, the law and the environment etc.

Plant a Peace Pole in your community, at your church or local school and organise a dedication ceremony at least once a year.
