Harleysville, PA (December 4, 2004) – Fins, Feathers, Paws & Claws, Inc. (FFPC) celebrates the opening of its new specialized gift store for animal lovers, The Pet Lover’s Christmas Village, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on December 4th. The company’s new retail store will provide customers with a large selection of gifts specifically geared towards animal lovers. The Pet Lover’s Christmas Village is located adjacent to the existing FFPC store (in the pond store) at 436 Main Street in Harleysville, PA. The headline event for this celebration is the live nativity scene presented by Advent Lutheran Church. Additional events include free gift wrapping, custom pet portraits on ornaments, and holiday refreshments. Children are also invited to bring in their letters to Santa Claus and drop them in his special mailbox at the Village store. In addition, the main pet store will be accepting donations for the local SPCA.

“This past year has proven to be a tremendous success with the opening of our new pond store. However, during the winter months the water gardening sales isn’t exactly in full bloom. We wanted to utilize the space we have available to us to further accommodate our animal loving customers,” said Tom Herron, FFPC store owner. “We decided the best way to do just that was to turn our pond store into a gift store geared specifically toward animal lovers. We are very excited about this new venture and hope that customers find the new store makes their hectic shopping season a little easier with one stop shopping for both pets and the people who love them. We look forward to welcoming the community to the grand opening and hope they enjoy all of the holiday festivities including the live nativity scene.”
