The protagonist’s dreams turn to nightmares as he finds himself entangled in a tightly woven web of corporate greed and political corruption orchestrated by a band of characters straight from the headlines of today. When asked about the origins of the story, Wood is quick to respond: “The book is a work of fiction. Anyone who knows me or who takes the time to research, however, will find that many facets of the story are, indeed, based upon experiences I either lived or witnessed firsthand.”
This is Wood’s debut novel. His previous writing credits include academic and technical pieces and occasional essays for the Charlotte (NC) Observer. He is a frequent speaker on business strategy and corporate ethics and consults with numerous organizations. He is currently Chair of the School of Business at Southwestern College of Kansas.
