This year’s event kicks off at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 2 with a private party at the
Flamingo Hilton pool with a hosted bar. A DJ and live reggae band will provide
entertainment. Max Muscle Magazine will hold a “Max Hot Body” contest where women
can compete for cash and prizes including getting their picture in the magazine. The Pool
Party Weekend After Party will be Saturday night at Club Ibiza hosted by Club Foam
Hollywood, and feature a bikini contest and casting call for a new video. Tickets to the
Pool Party Weekend begin at $60 and include access to all events and the open bar.
Pool Party Weekend started in 1996 with a few friends who rented a poolside
cabana at a hotel in Vegas and invited others over for a small pool party. They picked the
first Saturday in August because it’s the only month in the U.S. without a holiday.
