Freedom Data Services is able to provision these services to our clients in a number of ways, either:
• On the customers premises, using the customer’s facilities, hardware and software applications.
• On a Freedom Data Services facility utilising a VPN or GDL communications link into the client’s environment along with an application called Citrix and Citrix server which allows for thin client update of systems and applications stored on the client’s premises without the need for application licenses.
• Application Service Provider (ASP) model which entails provision of the web-enabled system environment hosted on either a Freedom Data Services or customer site along with all of the necessary staff resources to complete transactional updates of information resulting from changes made to the physical utility assets.
