A Houston area man has put out a call to all citizens to “Make the Call and Save a Life”

Todd Hoffman, Executive Director, Scene Of The Accident, is asking citizens nation wide to call the police whenever they see a drunk driver on the road. Hoffman states, “I am tired of these potential murderers driving up and down our streets and highways looking for their next victim. The only difference between these people and the people that abduct and kill our children is that they don’t haul the child off, they kill them where they stand!”

“Traffic accidents are the leading cause of death for people up to the age of 33. A person is killed every 12 minutes and injured every 10 seconds in an automobile accident and almost half of these are alcohol related. These collisions kill more of our children and young adults than any other disease. If we help the police by reporting the location of anybody driving under the influence, we can reduce deaths and injuries on our roads” said Hoffman.

Hoffman has posted the phone numbers to call in every state to report somebody driving under the influence of alcohol or any other substance on his website at www.sceneoftheaccident.org. He has also asked for help from groups such as Tow-Truck, Taxi and Delivery drivers. “Together we can become the eyes for the police force and send a message to anybody that has had a few drinks and is thinking about getting behind the wheel of their car that WE ARE WATCHING YOU!” said Hoffman.
