Most people around the world are familiar with the many Christmas Carols which have been performed by thousands of artists over the years.

But how many are aware of the human stories behind the composing of those Christmas Favorites?

announces that a special Christmas edition of
Stories of Great Hymns can be now heard on the world wide web.

The program features veteran radio actor Rex Brenner, who tells listeners the stories behind the composition of the Great Hymns, the trials and triumphs that led the great hymn writers to pen their immortal classics. The hymn music is provided by musician Larry Shackley.

Since 1991 the five minute programs have been distributed to radio stations in the U.S. and around the world. Since 1997 the programs have also been available online.

This Christmas season, Sunlite is featuring the Stories of the Christmas Carols including: Silent Night, Hark The Herald Angels Sing,O Little Town of Bethlehem and Carol Sweetly Carol.

The programs broadcast online in RealAudio can be heard free, on demand, at the Sunlite Radio Website.
