Let’s get to know one of the recent grads at The Atlanta Broadcast Institute.
Patricia Campbell-Crawford won the $50,000 grand prize on the Fear Factor in 2001 by walking on the wing of a biplane at 4000 feet, bob for plums in a fish tank full of snakes, and jump a speeding car off of a 3-story parking garage to win!
Patricia also participated in the 1999 HOPE Youth Corps in Philadelphia, and graduated at the top of her class at The Atlanta Broadcast Institute November 2005.
Even before graduation, she was working as an intern on the WVEE V-103 morning show, a top rated radio station in Atlanta, Georgia. In addition to this, she is participating in a SAG film production.
Patricia Campbell-Crawford is the perfect example of how determination and training can help you realize your dreams.
Patricia saught out ABI, because all of our training is hands-on, taught by instructors who work in the industry. We prepare our students for entry-level careers in the broadcast industry, including on-air and behind the scenes. Positions include, announcing for radio and television, news and sports casting, audio and video production, freelance commercial voice overs, sales, copy-writing, studio operations and promotions.
All our graduates in good standing with ABI earn the privilege of lifetime placement services. Our Director of Placement, Cyndi Todd, who also owns her own production company in Atlanta, works very closely with the radio and television stations in Atlanta to get our students placed upon graduation.
Congratulations, Patricia Campbell-Crawford!! Keep up the good work!!
