Make It Your Business like many other bands went through countless reincarnations until it found a lineup that seemed to fit. Originally found under the name This Time Tomorrow, the members kept writing and kept practicing until their roster was assembled. With Charlie Bierk on vocals, Chad Hogan and Spencer Cathcart sharing duties on guitar, Rob Holbrook playing bass and Nick Schofield mastering the drums, the group was finally complete and played under the new name of Make It Your Business (an ode to one of the groups greatest influences Taking Back Sunday).

Hailing from a small town just north of Toronto called Peterborough, since 2004 Make It Your Business have been working hard to earn local respect. The band has opened for acts like Bleed the Dream, Crowned King, Like Yesterday and Fefe Dobson. Playing in a genre that is slowly becoming overcrowded and unoriginal, MIYB has always concentrated on maintaining their sound to be as different as possible and breaking away from the classic sounds of the Rock/Pop/Punk genre. All of this while still retaining the catchiness that drives each song. MIYB truly have a unique sound you must hear for yourself.

With an EP under their belt, high school behind them and newfound support from Jetspeed Records, the band seems to be just getting started. The band will be recording their full length LP with Jetspeed this summer and taking their energetic live show on the road soon after that. Expect to be hearing more from Make It Your Business in the near future.
