A few words on the creature known as a Schmelviser.

A Schmelviser is a connoisseur of Elvis’s diet, his taste in dress, house furnishings, Cadillacs, and social graces.
Schmelvisers will appear at just about every Elvis Anniversary to point out all of Elvis’s all too human failings. They will even attempt to belittle Elvis’s millions of fans.

Schmelvisers know little of Elvis’s unprecedented contribution to popular music or anything about his beautiful and extraordinarily versatile voice. A voice which continues to reach out to many millions world-wide decades after his tragic death. They ignore his legendary generosity and psychical beauty. Turn a blind eye to his amazing influence on a great number of famous musicians such as, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Bono of U2, Springsteen, and Sammy Davis Junior etc.

Schmelvisers by mocking Elvis know in their heart it will get them a little craved attention. Their fifteen minutes of infamy.

Elvis fans have been reading and listening to the words of Schmelvers for many decades.

Now the Schmelvisers are reading ours:-)
