For_Immediate_Release:

Sierra Vista, AZ—January 24, 2006—Dr. Sam Caron’s weekly ADHD podcasts provide practical information for children, families, teachers, and other professionals in a fun, understandable format. Dr Caron, who also produced 3 popular ADHD educational videos, uses his puppet, Elwood, to make learning enjoyable. He believes that children with ADHD are more likely to pay attention when the information is entertaining.
Dr Caron stated, “As a child psychologist, I believe there is a lack of ADHD materials which not only speak to adults but also directly to children. My new podcasts continue my efforts to fulfill this need. Adult listeners can have their emailed questions answered by Dr. Caron, and children can have their questions answered by Elwood.”
Regarding the ADHD videos, clinical psychologist Dr. Steven Richfield said, "Dr. Caron.... has devised a very creative, inspiring and entertaining series that brings to light a myriad of critical issues.... Unlike books for ADHD children, the video provides a more powerful impact because the child viewer so easily identifies with Elwood's circumstances." Dr. Michiko Hara, Tokyo pediatric neurologist stated that the videos "are very instructive, beautiful and amazing, with joyful music and ventriloquism.”
Dr. Sam Caron is an Arizona Licensed Psychologist with over 30 years experience. He currently works at Fort Huachuca, an army post in Southeastern Arizona. He has performed his ADHD vignettes internationally and is known among other ventriloquists as Dr. C & Elwood. He was also featured in a British documentary, Dummies, which was shown nationally on The Learning Channel (TLC).
Dr. Caron’s new ADHD podcasts are a fun way for you and your children to learn about ADHD. Don’t forget to download them so that you can listen with your entire family.
