For_Immediate_Release:

Is Internet Radio overtaking normal radio?

Many people believe that Internet radio is just a handful of "bedroom DJ's" doing cheap and cheerful music shows form their homes, but the massively successful NET TALK RADIO has proven otherwise over the past 6 months. Only last week we had to TRIPLE our bandwidth t meet increasing demand.

Ross Hemsworth's Now THAT'S Weird paranormal talk show now has an audience of over 500,000 every Friday night and is globally syndicated, proving that more and more people are listening to the radio on their PC. A major US syndication company now want to take the programme onto "air radio sations" coast to coast which could take the audience up to over 10 million!

Our stats are showing that many offices and workplaces now listen to Internet radio, and the average office worker now spends over 2 hours a day researching on the worldwide web and listening to programmes whilst they surf. At home, the average person now also spends between 2-4 hours on the Internet every day!

They say "yes but you can't listen to Internet radio in the car" but again this is a falicy, our listeners record the streams to their MP3 players and listen to them in their cars, on the train and even when they are out jogging!!!

If you tune into your FM reciever, you wll find mainly music based shows, many owned by large corporations such as GCAP and GWR etc, and they all play the SAME music and many of the presenters sound the same - so people are looking for something else - and usually find Net Talk Radio.

On Monday Feb 20th we launch a new flagship show as part of the new spring schedule. SOUTH WEST TODAY is a business, local news and consumer talk show broadcast to the world to promote the South West of England, and on day one our guests include multi-millonaire Peter DeSavary, Christine Hamilton, Angela Wright MBE, Colin Breed MP and possibly Simon Hughes MP (probable next leader of the Liberal Party!) Quite a guest list for an Internet station isn't it! People ARE realising what a BIG audience Net Talk now has!!

We ae now hoping that press and television will cover the amazing success of Net Talk UK and other Internet stations and show the people that have not yet discovered Internet radio that it IS the future of broadcasting around the world. It also brings nations together with listeners contacting our shows from all four corners of the globe.

Ross Hemsworth is avaiable for interview on 01837 811889 or 07968 163866.
