For_Immediate_Release:

There is finally a solution for those awkward moments when you want to say something about someone’s bad habits but just do not have the heart to do so; it is called “secretmessage.com”. It is a solution even ‘Miss Manners’ would love. This newly launched website allows visitors to send anonymous messages to offenders on everything from being overly aggressive to being too cheap on the first date. Gentlemen, take note here.
“It is a concept whose time has come” says site Founding Partner Mark Taitz “. It takes the discomfort out of the way and allows people to be really open with their feelings without the risk of losing a friendship or an important relationship” he adds. So how does it work? Simple. Visit the website and you will find a fairly extensive (130+) and growing list of personal traits including ‘rudeness’ and even being just plain ‘evil’, select from the list and send a kindly worded message to the offender making them aware of their ‘behaviour’. The recipient never knows who the sender is, only that someone cared enough to let them know.

But this really new creative site is about more than just telling someone they smell bad, it actually offers corrective help for those annoying little habits. Every message that is sent includes links to organizations and resources that provide professional help and advice. “The site can be a playful tool for little things like nail biting” says Taitz “but it also addresses some serious issues like personal addiction, these are often very heavy topics and many people just find it difficult to come out and say something. Now there is a way to help the people they care about”, he adds.

The concept has been in development and under wraps for the better part of two years and is just the thing for those office events, which are often centre stage for the most ‘questionable’ of behaviours. So you’re sitting at your desk on Monday morning and you just have to tell your boss that she could have ‘toned it down’ a bit with Jamie from accounts receivable? Well now you have a way; www.secretmessage.com
