By Paul Nichol

A British man who thought of an idea to sell space on the homepage of his Web site for people to show their name to advertise their Web site may have started a new Internet advertising craze.

For_Immediate_Release:

Paul Nichol, 28, thought up his idea after thinking of various ways to earn himself one million dollars after seeing how successful Alex Tew's idea of selling pixels became. Paul wanted to think of something that was very simple, unique and different that no one had done before and so he came up with the idea of having one million names advertising on a Web site and called it The Million Names Project.com. The idea is for people to advertise on his site by adding their name and linking it to their Web site for just $1.00. His target is to have one million names advertising on his homepage.

It may sound like an impossible task to get one million names advertising on his site but at the time of writing there are around 150 names advertising on his site, making him around $150 and it's growing every day. As his site becomes more popular by the day and more people buy space to add their names its very possible he could be reaching his target of one million names on his homepage along with one million dollars in the bank in a short space of time.

Since the Million Names Project has started to look like it could become very successful, other websites with the same concept of advertising one million names have started to appear all over the Internet. Maybe Paul Nichol and his website The Million Names Project has started a new craze in Internet advertising just like The Million Dollar Homepage has done by selling pixels.
