For_Immediate_Release:
Silvio Dante
As Tony Soprano’s main advisor and right-hand man, Silvio Dante’s vehicle of choice reflects his understated power. The Cadillac Seville gets the job done right without attracting too much attention, just like its driver. “Silvio and Paulie [Walnuts] both, in my opinion, are just your old-time gangsters who stick with the same brand,” said fan Christine Dolan. “Always in a Caddy.”
The Seville was most famously used to transport Adriana La Cerva, Christopher Moltisanti’s then-fiancée, to her death. With its wood-trimmed steering wheel and gear selector, the Cadillac stays classy on the inside and handles well on the outside: Whether it’s zipping down the highway — or driving off the pavement and into the woods.
“The Seville?” asked fan Nino Caruso. “I thought that was another car that was in character.”
Adriana La Cerva
Adriana La Cerva, Christopher Moltisanti’s loving and tortured fiancée, also happened to own a pretty nice car. As she was being escorted to her death in the fourth car on our list, Silvio Dante’s 2004 Cadillac Seville, La Cerva was dreaming of a ride in her mint-blue Ford Thunderbird soft-top convertible (view The Sopranos vehicle slideshow). The Thunderbird comes with a 280-hp 3.9-liter V8 engine and a five-speed automatic transmission, great for zipping down Jersey highways.
“I think it fit her character; she had owned that club so she had to look professional,” said fan Kyle Mays. “With a car like that, she pulled off that look.”
After La Cerva met her fate, Moltisanti drove the Ford into the long grass behind one of New Jersey’s power plants, before eventually placing the car in long-term parking at a local airport.
“I don’t find it that impressive – I think it's very overrated,” said fan Nino Caruso. “It's not really a car you want to hit a back road with.”
