Quinting, the Swiss watch manufacturer of unique transparent watches which is already present through a selective distribution network in more than 25 countries across the world continues its successful international growth and this spring the company introduced its new watch collection in Stockholm. In May 2006, in conjunction with its Swedish partner, the luxury group Nikolaj de Etoiles, Quinting took part and acted as sponsor in two VIP events in Stockholm.
At the “St Petersburg party” called after the new wear collection from Nikolaj de Etoiles, the luxury group that distributes in European and Asian countries by appointments only high-end prêt-a-porter, exclusive jewelry creations from Italian designers, unique Quinting watches hold the distinction of being sole watch brand distributed by prestigious Nikolaj de Etoiles luxury group. The magnificence of the whole atmosphere was accentuated by the place the VIP-event was held. It was a stone brick Palace called Bajonetten in Stockholm (Strandvagen, 57C), famous world-wide for its ancient history and matchless beauty.
More than 700 influential people and celebrities – cream of society – attended the party. Among them there were such famous personalities like Tomas Antonelius, Swedish ex-footballer and great admirer of Quinting watches, who played for Brommapojkarna, the largest football club in Europe. The party was also attended by Lil Jon, the American hip hop producer, best-known as a pioneer of the sub-genre of hip hop, known as “crunk”. The Princess Madeleine of Sweden also attended the “St Petersburg event” adding yet more glamour to this launch evening.
The second glamorous event at which Quinting presented its novelties 2006 in Sweden was the annual party of 100 most fashionable people by Stureplan magazine. This magazine which is named after the central plaza of Stockholm known as an area with many expensive, luxurious bars and restaurants is the reference for the world of luxury and fashion in Sweden. Every year the Stureplan magazine organizes this event to reward top luxury and fashion brands for their creativity and distinction. This glittering star-studded “100 most fashionable people” party which gathered more than 1500 VIP guests from around the world was organized with an active participation of Quinting, Dior and Volvo which came out as sponsors.
