Mark & Tina Wise (and Alexa, their sweet Golden Retriever) are the proprietors of ¨Spanish Immersion-Excursions©,” located in the small rural Mexican town of Tehuixtla, Morelos.

Mark is a retired Army Lieutenat Colonel from San Luis Obispo, CA who did a stint in Iraq just before retiring. He traded his boots and pushups for huarache sandals and a bicycle. Mark is also a digital photographer with a BA in Spanish He travelled throughout Mexico from 1976 to 1977, so it was a logical move to retire in this beautifull country.

Mark met Tina in 1976 while living in Mexico City (Tina is from Mexico City but also has a US passport because she was born in Detroit). They became re-acquainted in 2002 and married in December the same year. Each has a girl and a boy the same ages from their first marriages.

For 7 days in a safe, relaxed, Bed and Breakfast setting, Mark and Tina offer “Survival” or intermediate Spanish classes & excursions to some of the world’s most famous tourist attractions. Guests experience ¨the real Mexico” in this perfect family and student vacation!

For $790pp USD (kids under 12 pay $690) guests receive:
* Pick up from, and return 7 days later, to the Mexico City Int´l airport (80 mi from Tehuixtla). Guests pay their own airfare.
* Comfortable 8-20 person accommodations in their home or a nearby hotel, both with swimming pools; cable TV; sunshine (85-95º highs, little humidity) & relaxation!
* 3 meals a day included, even on excursions (real mexican food!).
* 3 two hour “Survival” or intermediate Spanish classes.
* Basic package with the following set excursions paid: Taxco (world’s silver capital) and double decker bus tour of Mexico City.

Besides the basic package, guests choose another activity from the following list (Admission is paid unless otherwise noted): Thermal spring hydro massage w/swimming pool & Swedish massage; Xochicalco pyramids; Las Grutas underground caves; Magical town of Tepoztlán; Water skiing ($40 USD); Ultra-light flight ($40 USD). Mark and Tina are flexible if guests want something different and they accompany guests and translate.
