(Memphis, TN) July 24, 2006 - MemphisHipHop.com relaunched last week, with a redesign of the core site. In addition, MemphisHipHop.com is putting out a call for all Memphis and Southern music artists to become a part of the Hip-Hop movement and to take part in their internet radio station which launched two years ago which offers a means of promotion for independent artists.
Memphis HipHop offers news, and special features related to Southern artists currently on the grind in the music industry. While new features will be introduced, many of the past features developed during the beginning stages of Memphis HipHop will remain intact.
"We're excited to be the second major Memphis online hip-hop site and to have an online music station our artists love. All the artists currently love the idea of being a major part of it. While also doing this, we're also trying to put the focus more on what made hip-hop and what makes it. Fashion is one while the music is the main contributor to it," states Charlie, owner of Memphis Hip-Hop.
Memphis Hip-Hop radio station brings a new dimension to the MemphisHipHop.com website. Already an interactive destination, MemphisHipHop.com artists and users can now be active participants in the station itself where they felt left out with traditional broadcasting stations.
Song requests, playlist suggestions and dedications can be made by users either through the forums or by recording voice clips of themselves by phone. The variety of options offers users the opportunity to become an active part in a new and unique way.
