Bio-Tec aligns with Shjinjin to offer cost affordable biodegradable plastic bags worldwide. The companies feel as though this is a step in the right direction to offer a cost affordable biodegradable solution to literally millions of potential clients worldwide. Bio-Tec and Shjinjin are currently working on many projects in the biodegradable plastic bag market. Samuel Adams Senior VP of Bio-Tec says "Why wouldn't you buy an environmentally conscience biodegradable plastic bag that costs almost the same as regular plastic and acts just like plastic itself?" he further goes on to say "The commercial industry is manufacturing literally trillions of plastic bags that are harming the environment, by aligning ourselves with Shjinjin it allows the retail market to make the right environmental decision without spending allot more money."

Bio-Tec Environmental manufactures Bio-Batch a biodegradable plastics additive to make plastic biodegradable in 1-5 years. They claim their product will work in PP, PE, PS, PET and PVC without changing the shelf life, but will biodegrade once placed in a microbial environment like a landfill, litter, or a commercially compostable facility.

Shjinjin has two manufacturing plants in China focusing on Garbage bags and plastic bags.
