There Be Dragons Farm and G. Tommy Jensen recently presented a lecture on basic equine knowledge. The presentation took place at a training facility in Littleton, Massachusetts where Ms Jensen is a dressage trainer. This interactive session was attended by 30 members of the Dunstable Homesteaders 4H Club and their parents.

“What a horse is…” covered topics ranging from domestication, breeds and gaits to history of uses, grooming, riding disciplines and health. Ms Jensen encouraged each of the attendees to ask questions, and demonstrated many principles using her own horses.

Ms. Jensen has been horseback riding since 1976, and a riding instructor since 1986 with a focus on body mechanics of both horse and human. (www.therebedragonsfarm.com)
