PHOTOMODA NAMED OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPHERS FOR MEDIA AND MARKETING SHOW 2006
Dubai: October, 2006 – The Media and Marketing Show 2006, organised by Domus Group, today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with PhotoModa for the management of the annual event’s photo opportunities.
The only international event dedicated to supporting the rapid expansion of media and marketing opportunities in the Middle East, the Media and Marketing Show 2006 will take place at Dubai International Convention Centre from 27-29 November.
Created in March 2006, PhotoModa, a division of Papillon Communication, has already established six studios in Jebel Ali, Mirdiff, Al Barsha Dubai. With 35 UAE-based skilled photographers and a further 20 based throughout the region, PhotoModa is supported by the latest digital technologies. Its portfolio of reputed clients across the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Oman, validate its credibility as one of the region’s leading agencies for instantaneous, high quality photo images.
Michel Sedaghat, Managing Director of PhotoModa said: “A young photo agency, we are privileged to be selected as official photographers for the Media and Marketing Show 2006. We aim to fully optimise our partnership with Domus by providing approximately 2,500 images per day.”
As official photographers, PhotoModa will establish a digital lab at the exhibition and offer unrestricted access to all its up-to-the-minute digital images.
Abdulla Abulhoul, Director of Domus said: “We are pleased to announce PhotoModa as our official partner. We are confident the agency will use its talent and technology to help disseminate images of the event across the globe. Although we will provide PhotoModa with a mini studio at the exhibition, the media will be free to use its own photographers during the show.”
The second edition of the Media and Marketing Show is expected to attract over 10,000 visitors, more than 10 per cent up on the nearly 9,000 visitors from 47 countries who attended in 2005. Nearly 60 percent of those visitors comprised senior managers with specific decision making responsibility for marketing and advertising activities.
Advertising, broadcasting, entertainment, events, marketing, new media, outdoor advertising, and publishing will be the eight principal industries represented at the Media and Marketing Show 2006.
