VinUnici (www.VinUnici.com), a premier source of hard-to-find wines, announced today it will be participating in the New York Food & Wine Expo October 21 & 22, 2006.

The annual Expo (www.lohud.com/wine/index.html) draws upwards of 6,000 consumers and 2,500 members of the trade, showcasing top chefs and a range of seminars for all levels of wine lovers. Celebrity chefs include Ming Tsai, host and executive producer of the Public Television cooking show, SIMPLY MING; Corinne Trang, an award-winning author who has written for distinguished publications such as Food & Wine, Health, and Cooking Light; Adam Kaye and Joel de la Cruz, both of Blue Hill; Greg Gilbert, of Jackson & Wheeler; Peter Xaviar Kelly and Billy Ratner, both of The Xaviars Restaurant Group; and Bernie Prosperi, at the Renaissance Westchester Hotel. Various seminars are also available to consumers on topics such as Tuscany's Exciting Coastal Region and Bordeaux's from around the World.

VinUnici is pouring wines from several of the wineries it represents. True Riesling lovers will appreciate the natural dryness of the GotteLmann Munsterer Kapellenberg Rielsling Kabinett trocken (2004). Pinot fans will be treated to Bill Hill's rich and elegant Bighorn Cellars Pinot Noir, from Yamhill County, Oregon (2003). Merlot isn't dead—far from it—and the organic Medlock Ames Alexander Valley Merlot (2001) is one of the finest available today. The excellent Cobblestone Cabernet Sauvignon (2002) rounds out VinUnici's Expo portfolio with its traditional Napa Cab qualities.

"We're excited about participating in the New York Food & Wine Expo and look forward to meeting some of our customers in person, and to introducing our unique wines to many more wine enthusiasts," said Brett Flournoy, co-founder of VinUnici. "Each wine we represent reflects characteristics that artisan winemakers put into their wines. It's rewarding to be able to give these otherwise unknown wines the exposure they deserve, as each VinUnici wine is truly unique and outstanding."

VinUnici, based in Colleyville, Texas is committed to finding and representing truly "unique wines . . . from the road less traveled™." This is the first time VinUnici has participated in the New York Food & Wine Expo.
