Lived in Japan for a total of about 25 years; speaks, reads, writes Japanese fluently.

Former writer/producer for Japan Cable Television (JCTV) and a copywriter for Hakuhodo Advertising during the 70's, working on highly technical accounts such as Isuzu Motors, NEC and Fujitsu. Advertising and collateral materials prepared using source materials in Japanese. I have extensive patent interpreting and translation experience both in Japan, and in the US, in my various positions.

Currently one of only two active, court-certified Japanese interpreters with the 8th Judicial District Court, Clark County, Las Vegas. I have interpreted in trials, depositions, and in a simultaneous mode for workshops at trade shows.

Internet-literate and very familiar with Japanese Windows.
