While the Bill of Rights gives freedom of speech, it doesn't give freedom of advertisement. At lest not on NPR and CNN, both of whom have refused advertising for the controversial Death of a President, about the investigation of the fictional assassination of President Bush. The two outlets two national chains, Regal Entertainment (the U.S.'s biggest) and Cinemark USA, who are refusing to book the film into their theaters. British director, Gabriel Range, has been criticized for depicting the murder of a president still in office, but Newmarket's Chris Ball stresses: "Death of a President is the opposite of a call for violence. It's a powerful cautionary tale about the pernicious effects of violence." — E.C.
