Evan's Almighty Trailer
What on earth could the team of Evan Almighty have been spending that whopping $250 million on? Well, we finally get a peek, with the release online of the film's first trailer. The sequel to Jim Carrey's 2003 success, Bruce Almighty, stars Steve Carell as a TV newsman–turned–congressman whom God (Morgan Freeman) deems a modern Noah. He even gives him a beard that can never be shaved off. In the trailer, God and Noah meet-cute in a car, Evan finds himself surrounded by lots of animals at work and God gives him a bit of advice: "If anybody asks, tell 'em flood's coming." — Erica Cerulo

Poor Prenup-Less Reese
The biggest problem with marrying young in Hollywood? Not foreseeing the huge paychecks. Reese Witherspoon is going to wish she had more faith in post-Fear stardom when she and Ryan Phillippe delve into the finances of their split sans prenup. Last March, the Legally Blond breadwinner took the title of highest-earning actress, toppling even Julia Roberts — in 2005, she garnered a combined $30 million for Just Like Heaven and Walk the Line, and this year she broke through the actress glass ceiling with a $29 million take for horror film Our Family Trouble. Flags of Our Fathers actor Phillippe, however, commands a more modest $2.5 million a pop, but California state law could quickly level the playing field; it requires marital earnings to be split 50-50 without a prior agreement. The two are trying to keep the split amicable for the sake of their two kids. — E.C.
