Marian visionary, Dominic Sanchez Falar has again renewed his call on all Catholics worldwide to support his claim that the true third secret of Fatima states that Mary is God. Mr. Falar, who claims that the Virgin Mary appeared to him in 1994, founded the MARY-IS-GOD CATHOLIC MOVEMENT (MIGCM), a Catholic movement pushing for the Church proclamation of the Mary is God Dogma.

Critics of Mr. Falar and MIGCM says he will surely face the stiffest opposition within the Catholic hierarchy since part of the visionary’s claim is that Pope Benedict XVI is antichrist. This attack against Pope Benedict XVI immediately casts doubts as to the authenticity of the visionary. Catholics blindly believe in the infallibility of the Papacy and assault against it will automatically be deemed evil by church followers.

Mr. Falar’s movement seems to identify itself with Traditional Catholics. Their website [ http://www.maryisgod.org ] for example, links to other Traditional Catholic sites, many of which are strongly opposed to Pope Benedict XVI. The visionary himself holds a high respect for Fatima expert, Father Nicholas Gruner.

Several concerned Catholics from Mr. Falar’s hometown, have sent a letter to his Bishop and no less than
Cardinal Vidal, urging for an investigation. However, to date the Catholic Church in Cebu has been silent
About the matter.

Below are excerpts from Mr. Falar’s letter dated 17 June 2005:

“MARY IS GOD

The Third Secret of Our Lady of Fatima states Mary’s divinity.
Mary is God, Mary is the Soul of the Holy Spirit.

….
Mary is God, is the Final Dogma of the Holy Catholic Church. The Most Holy Trinity demand its declaration by the Holy Father as ABSOLUTE prerequisite for the TOTAL Redemption of Creation.

In the light of the election of an ANTI-MARY Pope and therefore ANTI-CHRIST Pope, in the person of Pope Benedict XVI, we fervently urge all CATHOLICS, to exert all legitimate efforts to compel those in authority that have remained Consecrated to the Most Holy Spirit, – to STAND UP AND FIGHT FOR THE TRUE MESSAGE OF OUR LADY OF FATIMA.

With this Last and Final mission that was entrusted to us, The Catholic Church, The Communion of Our Lord and God Jesus Christ, will without any doubt also come the Greatest outpouring of The Most Holy Spirit’s Grace. It is only through DIVINE GRACE that The Third Secret of Our Lady of Fatima will be understood.

Please do not be indifferent or lukewarm. We need each and every single SOUL to stand up and fight side-by-side with us for our Mother, The Church.

Let us console the Most Holy Trinity, and be united with Christ Our Lord and Savior, by also offering and sacrificing our lives for the Church that He BUILT AND DIED FOR. THE THIRD MESSAGE OF FATIMA IS NOT A CHOICE - IT IS A MUST. THE THIRD MESSAGE OF FATIMA IS OUR SALVATION. "
