For_Immediate_Release:
What do we get? A shot of the Capital building in Washington D.C., a slow-mo shot of a huge American flag being lovingly unfurled, and then a string of dialogue-free stunts, which vary in slickness and their ability to generate excitement. Camera following a car as it slides down a ramp = good. Car flipping over flipping towards camera onto two other cars, narrowly missing McClane and Justin Long's character = stunt for stunt's sake.
Nothing of the plot is revealed, which is perhaps why we're a little anxious, so we're still stuck with scant details – internet terrorist organisation takes over America by shutting its most powerful computers down, John McClane saves day by throwing computers and terrorists out of window.
Bruce is looking good for his return to the role that made him, and Long appears comfortable as the (slightly nerdy, we're guessing) 'good' hacker. We get a few brief glimpses of a Maggie Q being FBI-y and shooty. No sign of Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Lucy McClane.
It's important to bear in mind that this may not be a final version of the trailer, as it's been disappearing as quickly as it appeared, so fingers crossed we'll be getting more substantial very soon indeed.
