"The crowd are so great and what is really shocking is that they are so young. I guess `Rocky' translates to younger generations," said Stallone, 60. "The film means so much to me because to be given a second chance at life is a wonderful thing."

"Rocky Balboa" an MGM Pictures release and Stallone's sixth about the blue-collar Philadelphia boxer is about the aging prizefighter running a restaurant and mourning the death of wife, Adrian. He is tempted to climb back into the ring one last time when a computer simulation that pits him against a present-day champion shows Rocky would win.
Stallone put in months of training for the role, reportedly suffering a damaged neck and a broken foot.

"I'm a big `Rocky' fan just like everyone else is," said Olympic boxing star Amir Khan, who attended the premiere Tuesday night. "I've been watching the movie since I was young. I never thought in my life I would come to a `Rocky' premiere and meet Sylvester Stallone."
Other celebrities attending the event included Chelsea soccer stars Ashley Cole and Shaun Wright-Phillips, actress Jennifer Ellison and comic Frank Skinner.
