DJ Erupt, an upcoming dj and a MySpace native, teamed up with an up & coming entertainment entity FR33DOM ENTERTAINMENT to compile a compilation solely of independent and unsigned artists. The project’s only ties to MySpace is the fact that each artist featured has a MySpace music artist profile.

“It’s a DJ’s job to break new artists, to promote, and get these dedicated, deserving artist that needed exposure. At first I didn’t know how it would turn out, cause it was purely an idea. This project had no budget, no funding, and in the end was going to be given away and downloaded for free! I didn’t know how the artists would react. I hit Jin up first, three days later, I got a response and the rest is history. The main reason I did this is because everyone was saying hip-hop was dying and or dead. The artists on this compilation contradict that statement,” DJ Erupt said

The Compilation consists of 20 eclectic hip-hop tracks with appearances by DJ Young Mase, AZ, Sho Nuff Recording Artists Tone Tone, Def Jam Recording Artists: Rick Ross, UK Artists: Sway Dafaso, Baby Blue, & Pyrielli and Chopper City Recording Artists: VL Mike & K’Jon. Production by: Just Blaze, Base N Rebulz, Cool & Dre, and Sweetheart Illmind to name a few.
