"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" creator Joss Whedon, who had been developing a big-screen adaptation of Wonder Woman, has left the project.

He chalked it up to creative differences. ''I had a take on the film that, well, nobody liked,'' he wrote on the fan site www.whedonesque.com.
''We just saw different movies, and at the price range this kind of movie hangs in, that's never gonna work,'' Whedon wrote.
Rumors of script issues intensified last week when the "Wonder Woman" studio, Warner Bros., bought a script about the superhero from newcomers Matthew Jennison and Brent Strickland.
