For_Immediate_Release:
I want everyone in Illinois to know how poorly I was treated by: Marquette Bank.
Personal experience:
I applied for a line of overdraft protection for my checking account and submitted my credit application to the personal banker. From that point the banker reviewed my credit and then told me the line of credit had been approved. However, I would need to return the next day to attach the line of credit to the account. When I returned the next day, I was asked to speak to Senior Vice President of the bank. He informed me due to the bank guidelines I could only approved for a lesser amount. I accepted what was offered and asked, what was needed to proceed. I was told to return within an hour to complete the process to obtain the line of credit. When I returned I was made to wait for another hour, after waiting a teller told me I could not be approved and, takes my business elsewhere. I was dumbfounded. I then demanded to speak to the Senior Vice President. I was told he was unavailable to speak to me and I needed to leave.
Nevertheless, I went across the street to a national bank that approved my loan in 5 minutes.
I would hope anyone considering working with Marquette Bank for:

§ Mortgage Loan
§ Home Equity Line of Credit
