GatorPond Entertainment Group, a company that helps school groups, churches, and charities raise money nationwide, is launching a revolutionary new fundraising program this fall that will save thousands of hours of volunteer time in schools across the country.
Elementary, middle schools, high schools and youth groups typically do a "catalog" fundraiser in the fall. The #1 complaint from many groups is that they have to spend a lot of time delivering the merchandise to hundreds of family members, friends and other supporters and the pricing of the products are higher than available through traditional retail outlets. GatorPond solves these problems because our program isn’t “product-based” AND it saves the Member money each month. The concept is simple: Each customer buys a GatorPond membership that allows a family unlimited trading of movies, music CDs and video games- utilizing each families OWN inventory of games, movies and music CD’s. The media requested is mailed directly to the member’s home or office.
"This is the future of fundraising," says Deaven Butler, president and Co-Founder of GatorPond. "By transferring the shipping responsibility to the customer, we are eliminating all of the work for volunteers. This program is so much easier, it will definitely change the way schools and groups view the whole fundraising process. Even groups with as few as 10 members can use this new fundraising program and create significant, recurring monthly income. No other program we have seen pays as well, is as easy to implement and is NEEDED in families across all socio-economic groups because instead of buying or renting media anymore, you ‘Use what you have, to get what you want’ TM saving the family a huge amount of discretionary money each and every month."
“Non-profit groups across the country are excited about this fundraiser, since now they do not have any geographical constraints.” explains CEO and Co-Founder, Larry Favalora, "via phone or email, your supporters and school kids can now sell to their cousin in Montana, their uncle in New York City and their sister away at college in Texas. Because our membership program works nationwide, supporters can offer this program everywhere in the country and make more money for their school or group. The supporter ACTUALLY saves money while the organization makes money! The amount of money a group makes on each fundraiser is especially important now, since so many school budgets are being cut." GatorPond also plans significant International expansion to the United Kingdom, Canada, South Africa, Israel and Australia late 2007 and over 30 countries in the next 36 months.
