New Lyme Disease Website Offers Resources and Answers

A small group of Lyme Disease sufferers in California have launched ChronicLymeDisease.com, a new Lyme Disease website offering information about the chronic form of Lyme infection.

Wishing to remain anonymous, the lead web designer for ChronicLymeDisease.com believes that the website is definitely needed. "Too many people are unaware of chronic Lyme Disease," he said in a recent remote interview. "We just want to spread the word - this disease is devastating and much more common than most people realize. Our new website is not intended to be an exhaustive resource, but instead, simply an introduction to the disease."

ChronicLymeDisease.com features an introductory article on Lyme Disease, recommended books, syndicated news articles, and links to additional resources. The design team for the website claims to have paid $700 for the domain name.

"ChronicLymeDisease.com was not an available domain name when we started this project. However, we were able to purchase the domain name through a domain brokerage firm for $700. We felt this investment was worth it because it will increase traffic to the website. The search terms "chronic Lyme Disease" are very popular among search engines like Google and Yahoo, so we feel this domain name should help us reach those in need of information about this terrible affliction."

When asked why they wish to remain anonymous, the website founders paused for a few seconds, then answered: "We don't want credit for this. The important thing is that the information is out there. What difference does it make who put it out there?"
