The government passed the law back in 1997, but if your one of those that waits for the last minute guess what? It is right around the corner. As a matter of fact, we were visiting a home the other day and a customer had stated they had lost another channel on there analog viewing. The deadline is near but the transition is happening every day amd there will be additional channels that will not be available by the end of the month. What are your options? Number one is to stay with a current local cable company like Cox Communications with outrageous retail pricing or go with the best choice which is already 100 percent digital and complient to the mandate like Dish Network and Direct TV, which is much more cost effective.
"You would be surprised to see how many people still use traditional antennas! stated Tittle. Most of these people are elderly and are not aware that this method will be obsolete. That is why we are currently working with DHS and the elderly community to inform them that they have very many in expensive programs as opposed to calling the over priced local cable company.
The bottom line is the time is near and it is not if it is going to happen but when and the answer is to that is very soon!
