CTRIBAT Institute for Social Development presents a Gun Violence Prevention Interactive Workshop.
On Friday July 20, 2007, at 4:30 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at located at the Rose Center 101 Ashmun Street in New Haven, Connecticut CTRIBAT Institute for Social Development will kick off the summer pilot: CTRIBAT Leadership Retreat 2007 “Total Response”
An interactive workshop/lecture will be conducted on Gun Violence Prevention. This is the first in a series of three workshops that have been designed by CTRIBAT to address the issues that confront Our Youth and to give them the proper tools to cope with life in an Urban Environment.

This workshop is only open to select groups. A parent or guardian is required to attend this event.
CTRIBAT Institute for Social Development is most noted for it success in reducing gun violence among urban youth.The CTRIBAT 2006 Summer Leadership Retreat “Front Line” targeted the population of At-Risk male youth ages 8 years-old to 17 years-old and created the conditions that led to the 400% reduction of Firearm Related Incidents in the Urban Sector of New Haven Connecticut known as the Dixwell Avenue-a historical African American community adjacent to Yale University.
