For_Immediate_Release:

Pam Allison, leads generation specialist, said today, "When it comes to leads and leads generation, I can not over emphasize the importance of writing. Writing articles for blogs, forum posts, ezines, newsletters, etc is crucial for gaining the exposure for your website that will generate traffic which leads to leads generation. When I first was told the importance of writing in internet marketing, I thought "there has to be another way, I am not a writer.". Given the proper training and some simple guidelines, writing articles soon becomes less intimidating."

She continued, "In earlier articles I went over the importance of selecting keywords specific to your website or opportunity. Remember to use the Good Keywords tool, it is free and extremely helpful. Once you have selected your keyword(s) and/or keyword phrase(s), you are ready to begin configuring and then promoting your website. The goals here are to obtain exposure for your website, to achieve search engine rankings. This will lead to generating leads if properly utilized. Your website or web page must be properly confingured before you begin to promote it, of course.

In configuring your web page or web site, you want to configure your title, meta tag, and keywords. The title should be keyword specific, such as 'Ultimate Leads Generation'. The meta tag should be a short description of your web page, again keyword specific. Then of course, the keyword(s) and/ or keyword phrase(s) that you have selected. Once your page is configured you want to hand submit the URL to Google, at least. The above applies to any web page including your web site, blogs, forums, etc.

On to our goal of gaining exposure for your site. In writing for exposure and ultimately search engine rankings and traffic, be sure to keep your articles keyword specific. Good keyword rich content is extremely important. Remember that you are writing an article, not an ad. You are not trying to sell anything here, but rather to provide keyword specific content, information that your potential lead will be searching for. I must say here that the idea of writing articles was somewhat intimidating at first. I had to learn discipline, to force myself to write daily no matter what. The more you write, the less intimidating it becomes. I have even begun to enjoy writing."

Pam Allison then said, "A very important key in leads generation is branding. You want to 'brand' your name, to associate it with your web page or opportunity in everything that you do. For example, I use my name, Pam Allison, as my third or fourth keyword, in my title and meta tag, and of course in my articles.

You have written a keyword rich article with good keyword rich content, now what do you do with it? There are several outlets for 'publishing' your articles online. First, a press release. There are many good places for online press releases. I use free-press-release.com. You can use free services or paid, I get excellent results with free press release. One of my earliest press releases on Leadsomatic, has had over 50,000 hits in just over 6 weeks. (That never ceases to amaze me.) The press release site that you choose will have a format for you to follow. Once you have made your press release be sure to submit the URL that you will be given to Google, and elsewhere. I always submit to sites such as Stumble Upon and technorati, there are many others.

Next on to blogs and forums. You can post your article to an online blog. There are many places online to create your own blog. I use BlogFather and have a WordPress blog associated with my website. Most of the social networking sites allow you to create your own blog, as well. You want to make sure to make some changes to your article before you post it in more than one location. I would recommend making changes to the opening and closing, as well as in the middle of your article. Add or delete a sentence, change around the paragraphs, or individual sentences.

You will find many forums online that you can post to. I am working with a group of marketers who have created a forum that we post to on a daily basis. Search for online groups, social networking sites, or create your own forum. Again, be sure to make some changes to your article for multiple posts. Take the URL of your forum or blog, and submit it to Google, technorati, Stumble Upon, etc., every time the content changes. In other words, every time you make a post. This leads to search engine rankings for your forum or blog, and solid back links to your web site or web page.

There are also many good sites online to publish your article, create and publish a newsletter, there are endless possibilities. Use your articles to create a web page linking back to your website, a subdomain. The more you write and post in various forums, you will gain exposure, search engine ranking, and begin to generate leads."
