Motivational humorous speaker Doug Dvorak was a featured guest on The CBS Early Show on September 27th,2007. Doug was asked to participate in a segment on “The Cubs Curse” and was asked for some hints on staying motivated when life pitches you a curve ball. Following the "Bart-man" incident in 2003, the Cubs have taken the reigns of being baseball's lovable losers. Could this finally be the year for Cubbies fans? Cynthia Bowers interviewed Doug for the show that aired nationwide on Thursday September 27th, 2007.

"I'm extremely proud and honored the The CBS Early Show considered me as a source for some motivational tips and suggestions on how Cub Fans can stay motivated during the playoffs. We have all seen this before with the Cubs attempting to go to the World Series in 69, 84, 03 and hopefully all the way in 07. However, there may be something to the Cubs Curse and they never seem to make it. We get focused and motivated for them to win and we are let down and some fans get really down, some even depressed, which is why we need some motivation during the playoffs. I firmly believe that what the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve." Doug said.
