The 12th International Exhibition on Electric Power Equipment and Technology (EP China 2008) and the 5th International Exhibition on Electrical Engineering, Electrical Equipment and Contractors’ Supplies (Electrical China 2008) are scheduled to be held from 12-14 November 2008 at China International Exhibition Centre, Beijing, PR China. Found in 1986, EP / Electrical China and EP / Electrical Shanghai are organized by China Electricity Council and held rotationally in Shanghai and Beijing in alternate years. Being the largest and the most reputable electric power and electrical trade fair in China, EP China / Shanghai has become the only power expo endorsed by UFI Approved Event in China, with full supports from the major power group corporations and power grid corporations in China.

EP / Electrical China 2008 has been receiving overwhelming responses from both international trade associations and leading companies of the industry. Energy consumption in China has been increasing fast, pollutant emission from thermal power generation is getting more serious. To improve the situation, the “11th Five-Year Plan” sets stringent limits on emission, reducing national emission rate of pollutants by 10% and energy used for each unit of GDP by 20%. In line with the market trend, “Exhibition on Energy Conservation & Environmental Power” and the “China International Energy Conservation & Environmental Power Technology Conference” will be concurrently held with EP / Electrical China 2008.
