From "back in the day" in Brooklyn, NY, Danny Hawk has been a Cardio Boxing and kickboxing instructor. Even his Cuban father, "Pancho", was a boxer who fought the legendary champ Kid Gavilan.

In 1996, he moved to Miami Beach, teaching the hottest Techno Boxing and Cardio Kick Boxing classes in gyms throughout South Florida. In 2003, he decided to throw all caution to the wind, and opened Normandy Gym-he never looked back.

He expanded into designing boxing and MMA gear when he realized that gym members and fighters needed better quality gear that could withstand his TOUGH AS NAILS workouts! So, The Hawks Fight Wear (tm) and GKA (tm) sport and fight wear lines were born, offering GYM TESTED TOUGH gear in unique colors and styles.
