The drum kit for EA's new game Rock Band, provides a uniquely realistic experience. Unfortunately, after only a couple hours of play, the high pitched taps from jamming on the drums, become very evident and often quite annoying. This custom mod is a great addition to any bands set. The custom pads are made from high quality, self adhesive, foam discs which are cut to the precise measurements of your Rock Band drum kit. Here is a description of what will come with your drum pad kit:

Four, 7" diameter, 2mm thick brightly colored discs, cut to fit precisely within the black plastic ring of your grey drum control pads.
Four, 6.5" diameter, 2mm thick black discs attach to the colored ring giving your drums a fresh, sharp look. (not required for installation)
The new look of the drums is much cleaner with a jet black face and brightly colored rings.
Some players prefer to install colored rings only giving the drum set another very unique look.

The sound dampening is immediately noticeable. The drum beat goes from a plastic, hallow tapping to a noticably deeper thump and the drum kit maintains its full responsiveness with no loss of hit detection. We have played countless sets since our first installation and found a much better experience from the drum mod. Players have also mentioned an increased rebound which is the level of bounce back to the stick from after hitting the pad.

All pads fit both XBOX 360 & PS3 controllers. Once you receive your drum pads, you'll be ready to jam in 3 steps:

Peel off the adhesive backing cover,
Attach the new pads to your existing drum controller,
Rock Out
For those of you worried about changing the way your drums look or feel from the factory settings, should you ever choose to remove the custom pads from your setup, you can peel the self adhesive pads off of your drums with ease. The adhesive is strong enough to remain firmly attached to the drums and if you want to take the pads off and reuse them later, they come off with absolutely no residue left on the drum kit. Amazing and reusable!
