Pay It forward....Remember at Christmas there was a piece on the news about Starbucks, how a customer purchased their own drink, and then paid for the customer's drink behind them? Well we had, at AddALinkOfCharm.com Purchase 3 Medical Alert Bracelets. They then requested that we send only two, and keep the third one and donate it to someone who had a medical condition and could not afford to pay for it. We were truly moved, both as a business and personally.

We decided that we would run a worldwide notice to everyone, offering that if we received the nominations and donations of medical alert bracelets. Could we continue this throughout the entire year? Well we decided that we would donate February’s Bracelet, and challenge our customer pool to help us throughout the rest of the year. In January we received 103 nominations, and 2 donations. This made it so we could continue for the months of March and April.
AddALinkOfCharm.com gave its first Medical Alert Bracelet away On February 4th, 2008 to Heather P. She resides in Irving, Texas. We decided to continue this program. We then announced that we would be continuing for the months of February and March. That we would be accepting names until February 26th, 2008.

On February 29th, 2008 I announced that we had received 129 entries for this month, and that we would be having the drawing for February on March 2, 2008. Each month I am astonished of the folks that NEED Medical Alert Bracelets! I wish that we could afford to give EVERYONE that needs a Medical Alert Bracelet One! We continue to need donations so that we can keep this going. So please if you have the means we can surly use the donations of a medical alert bracelet so that we can continue this for the year.
