Launching these new tours will offer vacationing and traveling motorcyclists, as well as the military, who are away from home without their bikes, an alternative to tour options presently available.

For_Immediate_Release:

Time Rider Motorcycle Tours is entering the motorcycle industry, combining it with the travel/touring industry. Motorcycling has swept the country and crossed all generational lines, especially baby boomers. With 7 trillion dollars in personal wealth & 50% of the discretionary income expenditure, the boomers have caused the travel & motorcycle industries to explode worldwide.

With quotes from ABC’s Liz Harrison like “05/31/2007 (KFSN) -- If it seems you're seeing more two-wheeled vehicles on the road lately...you are. Local motorcycle dealers are reporting a significant increase in sales. Darlene Kawasaki of Clawson's Motorsports in North Fresno says motorcycle sales at her store are up 20%.” It’s obvious that motorcycling is quickly becoming one of America’s biggest hobbies

Current motorcycle tour offerings worldwide are 3 to 7 days and start at about $1200 per person. The market is wide open for a 1 day guided tour. So Time Rider Motorcycle Tours was initiated to fill this gap www.tr4tour.com

The targeted market is the vacationing/touring/cruising motorcyclist who has left his bike at home, yet would love to enjoy the touring experience on a bike. The offering is for seven to ten vacationing bikers with radio-equipped helmets listening to a MP3 tour specific recording. They are led by an off duty policeman or fireman with GPS equipped bikes.

Each six-hour tour is optimized for exposure to beautiful landscapes, walking tours, historical sightseeing and unique dining opportunities. The cost of $345 combines a guided tour with bikes and equipment supplied, lunch and admission to parks or tour areas.

The Hampton Roads Area of Virginia, which includes areas such as Williamsburg, Virginia Beach and Norfolk, was selected as the first area to launch Time Rider Motorcycle Tours. The beauty of the landscape, climate, the close proximity of attractions and the history of the area make it the ideal location. The tours will be a time traveling experience from meeting Pocahontas in Jamestown in 1607 through a 2008 ferry ride across the James River. Bus tours are available to places, such as Jamestown, but the tourist must disembark the bus and tour on foot. Motorcycles are allowed onto the property to tour on the bikes.

Theme parks, historical sites and beautiful landscapes are drawing tourists in increasing numbers. People are taking land & water cruises by the thousands. The times & technologies have now combined to allow the merger of these two beloved pastimes.

Time Rider Motorcycle Tours will offer the only one day guided tour that will encompass pick up at the client/biker’s location, will supply the motorcycle, helmets, a tour guide, information about the area and attractions, lunch and all admissions to area attractions and touring destinations.
