Addresses increased pollen counts, allergies, low air quality and how to combat them naturally

For_Immediate_Release:

Those suffering from allergies or asthma have undoubtedly noticed a difference this spring in Phoenix. An increase in pollen counts combined with an ever worsening air pollution issue has placed respiratory patients at greater risk and in more discomfort this season.

Fortunately there are natural aids to combat the effects of increased pollen and worsening air quality.

Vitamin C and Bioflavinoids

Vitamin C and Bioflavinoids act similar to an anit-histamine. Vitamin C and Bioflavionids, which are similar to Quercitin, help stabilize the mast cell membrane. This prevents the release of histamine which is linked to the allergic symptoms of swollen mucous membranes, runny nose and watery eyes. Not only do you eliminate the allergic symptoms, you do this without the side effects that are commonly associated with pharmaceutical medications. Typically high doses are required for a therapeutic effect.

Glutathione, Selenium & NAC

Glutathione is the most potent anti-oxidant in your body. As you’re exposed to environmental toxins and allergens, glutathione reserves in the body are depleted. As a result, your immune system is at risk for developing more allergic symptoms and other chronic diseases. Selenium must be present in the body in order for Glutathione to effectively protect your body. Most diets today have been found to be deficient in Selenium as a result of the consumption of processed foods. One of the amino acids that makes up glutathione is NAC or N-acetyl-cysteine. NAC is limited naturally in the diet and may need to be supplemented during times of high oxidative stress in order for the body to make sufficient stores of glutathione.

Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs)

EFAs are essential fats that must be incorporated into our diets as our bodies do not produce them. The Omega 3’s oils EPA (eicosapentaenoid acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) from fish, in particular, are anti-inflammatory. It’s important to note that Omega 6,which is found in many other foods, can be more inflammatory for some people with certain conditions. A study in Sweden revealed that children who consumed fish 2 times per month had a 37% reduced incidence of allergic diseases. It’s important to note that consuming fried foods can actually reduce, if not eliminate, the positive effects of EFAs.

Botanical Medicine

Those suffering from allergies can find relief from Botanical remedies. Urtica diocia, commonly known as stinging nettles, helps prevent histamine release by stabilizing mast cells. Plantago lanceolata, or plantain, helps sooth the upper respiratory tract and helps with any mucus. Sambucus nigra, black elderberry, is high in antioxidants and has an anti-mucus effect in the upper respiratory tract. For someone suffering from allergies or asthma this means relief.

Classical Homeopathy

A professional homeopath can find the right homeopathic prescription to promote the body’s natural balance and provide relief for your allergy symptoms. Homeopathy has been used in Europe and India to successfully treat allergies for many years.

So if you are tired of fighting an uphill battle this season with allergies and asthma there are effective alternatives you can use to bring yourself back into well-being.
