Does the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007 go far enough?



The Directors of Croner are pleased to invite you to a reception and presentation from health and safety expert Norman Selwyn in London on 21 May 2008. This will mark the publication of Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide 2007: A Guide, an indispensable authority to understanding business responsibilities under the new Act of Parliament.

The Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007, which came into force on 6 April 2008, places an even greater emphasis on corporate accountability and senior managers should no longer regard this as a minor matter. Norman Selwyn, a well-respected and leading authority on health and safety and employment law, will develop the argument that the Act does not go far enough. Attendees will be able to meet Norman together with the book’s contributors and editorial team.
