We are attemping a world record collection of beer and soda bottle caps. CTV news and Guiness Book of world records have been informed. Hooked on Recycling http://hookedonrecycling.tripod.com , The Original Bottle Cap Lure Company, www.bottlecaplure.com and www.therednecklure.com will also be participating in promoting the recycling of all beverage bottle caps. These bottle caps for years have been going into landfill sites, campfires, lakes, rivers and streams. Now it is our part to make sure that this metal and plastic material is properly disposed.

We are also going to spin off a fishing contest featuring The Redneck Lures & The Original Bottle Cap Lures! These are recycled beer caps that are turned into fishing lures. We want to find out what major beverage companys recycled cap will come out the best bottle cap fishing lure in the world.

We are planing on having bars, night clubs, hotels, bottle depots, events, and others helping to collect the bottle caps. This will be a huge effort. However, we need the giants in the industy to step forward. The huge gain they have received from the profits of the products being sold. Yet nothing have ever been done to challenge this very issue. We need finacial help to make this happen.
