“It's time to discuss the truth about race in America,” says White. In her new book entitled “Jesus is for Everybody,” author Sophia White outlines in her chapter Governance and Race Relations why President Obama is not an American Black.
“For some reason many people are blinded by the President’s skin color, and the President struggles to fully understand the nuances he faces in his own country. We need the true definition of America to be discussed more openly,” says White.
“President Obama is an American White with an International father who came to America for educational purposes,” says White. A recent speaker at the United Nations explained with honor that President Obama is the son of Africa. That’s not a bad thing. By definition, he is the son of an African man, not an American man and science clearly states that the bloodline of a child belongs to the father.
“Jesus is for Everybody” describes how our President grew up in America which is where his African father met his American mother, a white woman. Even though our president is a product of the “one drop rule,” the fact remains that his American heritage not that of the so called Negro.
Just so happened the President’s American White mother married an African student so he is rightfully defined as an African American. However, when we consider the definition of African Americans, it tends to throw all of us into one category.
“Being an American is about origin and not skin color, which is why I use the terms American Whites and American Blacks when distinguishing race relations”, explains White in her book “Jesus is for Everybody.” President Obama’s popularity is no happenstance. His courage and talents are within his origin as an American White man who was groomed to be a president.
“President Obama did what his upbringing raised him to do,” says White, and “the recent election is not about the success of the so called “Negro” over coming oppression.”
President Obama is not from the “Negro” origin which is the only indicator to measure success according to Dr. Martin Luther King and the American Civil Rights Movement.
